My Practice

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, chronic feelings of loneliness and emptiness, depression, life transitions and relationship challenges. Many of my clients come to me with a nagging feeling of unworthiness that does not match their accomplishments or life experiences. By exploring early relational patterns, life events and belief systems, we can change these feelings and how they relate to others.

Growth

It is easy to get stuck in unhealthy and ineffective patterns of dealing with stress, sadness and anger. Despite knowing these patterns are destructive, we often find ourselves falling back into these familiar patterns. I approach therapy with empathy, humor and openness and believe that a warm therapeutic relationship is the foundation for healing and growth.

Partnership

I've been working in the field for over 20 years and have found the relationship between the therapist and the client to be at the heart of creating change and growth. I work with victims of trauma and relational abuse, therefore

approach all my work through a trauma informed lense and an attachment framework.
